What Kinds Of Plants Attract Butterflies?

Coontie
This hardy Florida native reaches a mature height of four feet and is often seen in the landscapes as an accent plant, a foundation planting or a mass planting for groundcover. Larval food for the Atala Butterfly.

Jatropha
Jatropha is a tropical evergreen that has slender stems and multiple trunks. These plants can reach about 15 feet tall and have an equal spread when left unpruned. Some of the butterflies you may see enjoying this plant include monarchs, swallowtails, and zebra longwings.

Lantana
Lantana is a hardy perennial plant that blooms year round. the sweet scent of the lantana flowers attract a variety of butterflies.  

 Panama Rose
Panama Rose is a consistent flowering bush. this shrub makes a great accent plant, mid-height hedge along a fence or property line, or a colorful addition to a garden bed of butterfly plants. The flowers attract butterflies with its sweet smelling nectar.
